Description

Trixie Smith's 'Give Me That Old Slow Drag' on Black Swan 14127. The Jazz Masters supposedly has Fletcher Henderson on piano. Classic blues. The flip side is 'My Man Rocks Me (With One Steady Roll).' This song has the earliest known reference to the term Rock and Roll!! Recorded in Fall, 1922, the disc is in V+ condition. 'Give Me' has even background static throughout and 'My Man' has a couple of blips, but plays through with static. A lot more music here than static. One of Trixie's earliest gems!
