This record checks all of the boxes for the first pressing.
1st UK issue
Vertigo ''large swirl'' label - with the wording ''Vertigo'' credited below the spindle hole on label side B.
Matte gatefold sleeve - with the credits mentioning ''Management / Jim Simpson, Big Bear, Birmingham''
Cat# - 6360 011 appears on B-side label, spine and rear of sleeve above VO PRICE CODE.
To distinguish from other releases: ℗ 1970 is printed above 33 1/3 on right side on label.

There is no break in between the tracks "Hand of Doom" and "Rat Salad" - i.e. looks as though there are only three tracks on the B side of the record when there are actually four
The matrix numbers are as follows:
Side A
6360011 1Y//1 ~ 420 1211
(The ~ signifies an upside down triangle)
Side B
6360011 2Y//1 ~ 420 1111
(The ~ signifies an upside down triangle)
*The end of both matrix numbers starting with 121 for side A and 111 for side B indicate a very early 1st pressing.
The sleeve is in great condition. The front cover of the gatefold sleeve is a bit “wavy” as seen in the photos. There is a bit of sticker residue on the upper part of the back of the sleeve. There is also a bit of residue by Ozzie next to the credits inside the sleeve.
This also has the original Vertigo inner sleeve which is in excellent condition. There are splits or tears.
The vinyl was played on a Rega Planar 6 and sounds great. There is a bit of crackle present during the quieter parts. (It is quite noticeable during Planet Caravan, but it definitely does not over power the song in any way.) There are a few superficial marks on the vinyl, however there are no skips or jumps.
