Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... 

We have just taken in a super rare record collection of some of the most collectable titles. Each one we are listing, whilst possibly not quite as MINT as we normally list here on eBay, we are sure you will see that records like these are so collectable in any condition! AND..as always, we will not list anything if it plays badly or jumps skips  etc.. So rest assured, these LPs are going to be really nice and super rare.. And they will play brilliantly -at least!!!

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized  1st SPIRAL pressing with the  SPIRAL INNER SLEEVE - Stored from new this LP has seen AVERAGE VERY CAREFUL plays only, and remains in SUPER condition everywhere.

THE VINYL REALLY PLAYS QUITE INCREDIBLE. NO UNWANTED NOISE AT ALL.

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is little dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.

The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a decent copy at all, let alone like this.

There are a some light spider lines around the centre hole, but no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are some light whisp lines, a couple of the lightest of hairlines and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead opening grooves..

NO UNWANTED NOISE OR CRACKLES ON THE QUITE TUNES- WHICH WAS A JOY! OVERALL A REALLY STUNNING LISTEN.

'Changes' plays superb.. no crackle at all. ALL TRACKS REALLY SOUNDED AMAZING

A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct BOOKLET first UK issued earliest gatefold sleeve  - WITH SPIRAL INNER

PRINTER CREDITS -  NONE

 This sleeve is in super condition, not MINT, but still a very presentable example.

The edges have some  rub in,  and a little very feint rub on the panels themsleves

No  ringwear -some light  ring press...no dulling of any note.

The open edge remains in  sharp condition, with just some light touches of feathering

The spine leans, has some light rub on the lettering - some slight discolour

There is some tip rub on all corners and edge rub leading up to each tip

Some tiny little spider lines over the edges in  a few places..

The open out is superb with no white rubbing or wear of any note, and the booklet is attached still, but not 100%

We cannot add any more than this! ITS A NICE EXAMPLE OF THESE SUPER RARE SPIRAL PRESSINGS.
