Description

  • Black Sabbath released their fifth studio album "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" in December 1973 on Warner Bros. Records. It was the band's fifth consecutive album to go Platinum and the first to actually receive positive reviews from critics.

  • This copy of (BS 2695) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap mostly attached and is easily VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at Customatrix and this early release copy with the Burbank disc labels and no address for Warner Bros. was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Pitman, NJ. The Side One dead wax is etched BS-2695 40432-1-1 K A2 T1.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 48 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
