In den nächsten Tagen und Wochen  - Ende September bis Ende Oktober - löse ich einen Teil meiner Schallplattensammlung auf ! Es kommen unter anderem viele Sammlerstücke und Raritäten aus dem HARDROCK-,  METAL- und PUNK-Bereich unter den Hammer !

Alle Platten, die hier zur Auktion kommen, stammen aus meiner privaten, sorgfältig zusammengestellten und gepflegten Sammlung. Sie sind alle mindestens in einem sehr guten Zustand. Da ist auch für Dich etwas dabei !

This is a very rare and hard to find copy of BLACK SABBATH´s first ever album release from 1970, with fantastic audio reproduction, an excellent sleeve and the polylined swirl innerbag. Please find the detailed description below.

Condition: 
Record:
Sonically the record would grade as excellent, with powerful playback that only these original Vertigo Pressings would deliver due to its thick and solid vinyl. There is some background noise between the more silent parts of the album, but that is what you can expect from a 46 year old copy and even from a five year old one. There is a small bruise on Side One between "Black Sabbath" and "The Wizard" that results in a couple of tiny clicks about 3-4 times on my device.
In general the audio playback is free of distortion and a real listening pleasure without any sticks, jumps or pops throughout the album.

Visually the record would grade as very good. It has a couple of light surface marks, few superficial scuffs and hairlines, none go deep except the one mentioned above.
The record has been professionally cleaned some time ago and has been kept in a separate new polyline innersleeve ever since.
Outer Sleeve
grades as very good - excellent. Excellent is the fact that the sleeve is tight and firm with some traces of usual storage wear, no tears, creases, stickers or dirt. The spine and the edges are sharp and show only a minimum of wear. The opening where the record goes in and out shows some wear, thats the part where the sleeve grades "very good" only.
In total this is a very presentable, very good to excellent sleeve.
Inner Sleeve:
very good - It is the white swirl innerbag with intact plastic inside. It shows some minor signs of yellowing and creasing at the bottom corners, it is free of dirt, stains and tears but has some red and blue ballpoint marks at the right top and bottom.

To sum it up , you are going to bid on very rare original UK- VERTIGO copy of Black Sabbath first album release, in a very presentable, very good to excellent condition.

Die Platte wird mit der Innenhülle aus dem Cover genommen und in
einer Schutzhülle verpackt, um ein Durchschlagen des Vinyls zu verhindern.
Shipment with professional cardboard record mailer. The record with
Innersleeve will be separated from the sleeve and stored in a
protective plastic sleeve to avoid seam splits.
