Description
BLACK SABBATH: Paranoid, UK Vertigo 1970 first pressing, with 4/70 date coded innerslv, Big Bear credits on inside gatefold sleeve, signifying the 1st unlaminated cover for this LP. This is a superb copy, Disc is graded EXCELLENT+++, play-graded superb MINT(-) from A to Z. Has one tiny hairline mark, completely inaudible and hard to see. Superb noise-free sound. Cover is and equal EXCELLENT++, extremely hard to find the 1st unlaminated cover in this condition (the later laminated cover easier from obvious reasons). This cover has hardly any rub wear at all, minimal rub wear on lower spines, superb back spine, superb upper spines, a few tiny tiny white needle head spots on cover. By far the best unlaminated 1st press cover for this LP I have come across. Check out the pics. This extremely rare 1st press copy is very very hard to beat and I doubt you’ll get a shot at a similar copy in the nearest future. GOOD LUCK.
GRADINGS
I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+, unless of considerable rarity.
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
SHIPPING
I ship in strong, brand new cruciform shipping boxes with padding inside. The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit. If you have individual requirements regarding shipping, I will always do my best to coorporate. I also add extra corner protection to all packages.
