Description
Up for auction is a very nice original pressing of the Black Sabbath album Master Of Reality, originally released in the U.S. on Warner Bros. Records (BS 2562) in 1971:
-Guaranteed original 1971 pressing, not recent reissue
-Artisan mastering stamps in both run-outs -Original olive green WB labels -Side One label reads "After Forever (Including The Elegy)" -"Ioomi" misspelling in label song credit -Original poster -Original embossed cover -Original WB inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover -NOT common record club pressing
Note: The very first pressings had the "Masters" misspelling in the title, along with the errors that this one has. This copy had the title corrected but still had the "Ioomi" misspelling. As such, still very rare compared to the fully-corrected pressings.
Poster: Poster is in Excellent (EX) condition, no tears, no pinholes, no tape marks, no fading. Has just a typical hint of rub along one folding edge, and in the middle where the two folds meet, but not serious (see photos).
Condition: Cover is in beautiful condition, still retains its original shine. No ring wear, no seams splits. A couple corners show tiny hint of rub where shrink is open. Shrink is nice and shiny, clean, not aged, tattered or worn, just a small tear at bottom opening, not serious. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer original cover, very hard to upgrade.
Grade: Near Mint (NM)
Vinyl is also in beautiful condition, still has its original deep glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of original inner sleeve a couple times.. Labels are clean, no spindle hole wear. Looks like this may have been played only once previously. Very hard to upgrade.

I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
