1st Pressing Matrix Numbers
Cover: 1st pressing laminated 'box' style cover made by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd. In Excellent condition. No writings, doodles or seam splits and no missing pieces. A little edge wear, some light laminate creasing and a small split in flap cover.
Swirl inner bag: Comes with the correct inverted swirl inner bag which is in VG+ condition.
Poster: Please note that this is a later issue poster with 4 panels and not the first issue poster that has 6 panels. Excellent condition.
Labels: Excellent - except that one side has a symbol drawn on it.
Vinyl: Play tested. Looks VG to VG+ with some light marks. Plays mostly Excellent with only the odd pop and click here and there; there is a little crackle on track 1 (Side 2) which is therefore rated as VG. These Vertigo 1st pressings (manufactured by Philips) used top quality vinyl and this one has stood the test of time. Great sound. Play it loud. Might improve even further with a light clean.

Gradings......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
