This is the UK 1st press of Black Sabbaths' debut LP. This press is complete with the earliest 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, the earliest large swirl Vertigo label, the original swirl Vertigo inner sleeve and matt gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright gloss with just a few very light marks on both sides. When played the voice is extremely sharp and the backing is still rich, vibrant and clear. The swirl Vertigo label is extremely clean and bright. The white is sharp, the black is bold and the text completely clear. There is only the slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with the original Vertigo swirl inner sleeve.
The matt gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are exceptionally bold, the image is sharp and the gatefold is very solid. There is a little corner wear. The inside is completely clean with bold black and clear silver text. The whole cover feels very solid, the edges are very firm and the spine is has sharp text.
