BLACK SABBATH Black Sabbath ( first ) VERTIGO VO6 847 903 VTY 1970 LP album UK pressing Original First pressing Vinyl in Super Condition - A Very Strong Excellent to NEAR MINT !
VERTIGO SWIRL Label with The Big Swirl A Philips Record Product detail on the B side label - First printing Inner Gatefold detail of upside down cross credits ( in particular the Warning notice refers to copyright subsists in all stereo recordings , which was later changed on the second press along with the label design )
VERTIGO Matrix marks are a bit tricky to make out
but lets go with

Debut Album from The mighty Black Sabbath released on appropriately Friday the 13th Feb 1970 - A thunderous outing that is now viewed as perhaps the first Heavy Metal Album recorded unbelievably in one day by Tony Iommi Lead guitar, Geezer Butler Bass, Bill Ward drums and Ossie Osbourne ( as spelt on the sleeve) Vocals and Harmonica - 50 Years old now and rightly considered a Milestone of Rock History -
Complete with the original Vertigo Label inner sleeve In crisp barely used condition with the small proviso of a small Record shop reference number written in Biro on top right of inner Sleeve

Condition -
EXCELLENT SLEEVE which I hope you can see in the photos . Very faint wear to the edges and tiny bumping to the corners but unusually for a Black Sabbath Album in great hardly used condition - Back Sleeve has the same small Biro reference number top Right next to the Serial Number .
Inner Sleeve EXCELLENT
Vinyl in really Great shape for its 50 year plus vintage ! Visually a very Strong EXCELLENT to Near MINT
I have play tested on a Goldring Lenco Deck- there were very faint crackles for a few seconds on the opening of side one with the rain and thunderstorm effects and one tiny pop during the harmonica Solo of Second track the Wizard but thereafter this is the best Copy I have heard in 40 years of Record Selling . Side two plays with No issues to my ears .
The Labels are in great shape with no Spindle wear -
So all in all I think a Super Copy and of course both a Little bit of Rock History and a Monumental Album !
