Description
Black Sabbath's authentic 1970 debut UK release on Vertigo Records with misspelt Ossie (see scan) and Dunbar "Warning" credit.
Most say this record was the birth of Heavy Metal music and it's very hard to argue that with this onslaught on the ears….Incredible debut record!
Catalog number 847 903 VTY Side One: Vo6 1Y1 Side Two: VO6 2Y1
This is not the much more rarer and expensive Phillips text on the label pressing yet this one too is getting much harder to come by in decent condition and this ones a keeper.
The records grades EX+ it plays fantastic and the vinyl’s sheen is brilliant, there are some light marks nothing deep at all and it has very minimal surface noise (static)….A very nice copy!
The gatefold record cover is also a Excellent to the Near Mint inner it has no splits writing ink it does have a small label on the top rear right as well as a line/mark also on the rear of the cover nothing horrific really (see scans) Has the Ossie misspelling and the Dunbar credit inside the gatefold.
Comes with the original Vertigo inner sleeve (see scan).
I've been collecting records for over 53 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
