Black Sabbath's authentic 1970 debut UK release on Vertigo Records with misspelt Ossie (see scan) in the credits.
Most say this record was the birth of Heavy Metal music and it's very hard to argue that with this onslaught on the ears….Incredible debut record!
Catalog number 847 903 VTY Side One: Vo6 1Y 420 134 Side Two: VO6 2Y 420 121
This is not the much more rarer and expensive Phillips text on the label pressing yet getting much harder to come across in decent condition.
The records grades EX+ it plays fantastic and the vinyl’s sheen is brilliant, there are some ultra light marks nothing deep at all and it has very minimal surface noise (static)….A very nice copy!
The gatefold record cover is also a EX++ to the Near Mint inner (see scans) it has no splits writing/ ink and minimal handling wear and it has the Ossie misspelling inside the gatefold.
Comes with the original Vertigo inner sleeve (see scan).
I've been collecting records for over 53 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
