Description

Here is a rare 1912 'The Winner' record, no. 2486, of black American ragtime singers Norris Smith and Walter Dixon singing 'On The Mississippi' backed with Jack Charman singing 'I Want To Be In Dixie'. Norris Smith was an important figure in the black music world of pre-war Europe, and he made very few records, none of which were issued in the US! CONDITION: E, extremely hard to find in this condition!
