Wel, Ah Say, Welcome to this auction.
Black Oak Arkansas, their first, Atco SD 33-354, White Label Promo, cover EX, solid, no damage but small creases top and bottom right. Vinyl EX to EX+, excellent gloss, one hairline on side one that does not effect play. 2 absolutely classic songs, Hot and Nasty, and Lord Have Mercy On My Soul/When Electricity Came to Arkansas. Also, Singing the Blues, Uncle Lijah, Memories At The Window, The Hills of Arkansas. Outstanding sound and great guitars and vocals by Jim Dandy (mangrum)
Raunch and Roll Live, Atco QD 7019, discrete CD-4 Quadradisc, with gatefold cover, poster, original CD-4 inner sleeve, and a Deed for one square inch of heaven in Arkansas. Cover EX, solid but some edgewear and rubwear, vinyl EX+,to NM, looks perfect. Their usual music with an attitude, including Gettin' Kinda Cocky, Gigolo, When Electricity Came to Arkansas, UP, Mutants of the Monster, and a VERY wild version of Hot and Nasty, plus Hot Rod. (wonder what they mean by that?)
These are the 2 most collectible Black Oak lps in VERY nice condition.
I specialize in Japanese pressings, Audiophile and Quadraphonic/4 Channel pressings. Mostly classic rock.
I've got too many LPs and at this point I need the space more than I need the vinyl. I've been a collector for over 40 years, so I know how to rate and ACCURATELY DESCRIBE an item. Standard grading. Visual unless condition is a question.
Mint - Perfect
Near Mint - Near perfect. I've seen descriptions that say near mint with minor scuffs or scratches. Hello??? If there are scuffs or scratches, it's NOT near mint!
Excellent - Normal LIGHT wear. An item that's been handled or played, but still an enjoyable listening experience.
Very Good - Noticeable wear, expect some surface noise.
Poor - A Frisbee. You won't see any of that here.
