My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Cracker in original cardboard sleeve. As you know original first US pressings from 1981 were born with blue label etiquettes, the 'UNI/4' etching in the run-out groove and the ANTI-PARENT sticker glued over the MCA logo. Old eBay prices: €250 + $261. Here it is, the legendary debut album by BLACK FLAG from the West Coast. All 15 tracks are raw, powerful and unfiltered US fighters topped with the brilliant voice of America's famous punk son Henry Rollins. In other words the 'Damaged' LP is like a kick in your face. Only original first pressings can be identified by the unique ‘Unicorn’ sticker found on the back of the jacket. When MCA refused to distribute this American model because of the 'objectionable' content they covered their MCA logo with that sticker that says: 'AS A PARENT..., I FOUND IT AN ANTI-PARENT RECORD...'. These stickers are fairly commonplace nowadays but were a relatively new commodity back in the early eighties. This rarity was pressed on ‘SST/Unicorn’ records (catalogue number 9502). At the controls was famous HC Punk producer Spot who also produced records from bands like the BIG BOYS, HÜSKER DÜ, MINUTEMEN and DESCENDENTS. The band personnel on this album are Henry Rollins aka Henry Garfield - Vocals, Greg Ginn - Guitar, Dez Cadena - Guitar + Backing Vocals, Chuck Dukowski aka Gary McDaniel - Bass and Robo aka Roberto Valverde - Drums. You can listen to ‘Rise Above’ / ‘Spray Paint’ / ‘Six Pack’ / ‘What I See’ / ‘TV Party’ / ‘Thirsty And Miserable’ / ‘Police Story’ / ‘Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie’ / ‘Depression’ / ‘Room 13’ / ‘Damaged II’ / ‘No More’ / ‘Padded Cell’ / ‘Life Of Pain’ and ‘Damaged I’. Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
