Description
BLACK COLIN VEARNCOMBE LP vinyl RARE ORIGINAL A & M 397-126-1 1991 POL281
This listing is for:Album title: Black Artist: Black Release: 1991 A&M Made In England
This is the hard to find vinyl of the classic album by the wonderful and lamentably late Colin Vearncombe / Black.
The cover has slight knocks to the corners and there are a few spider/vein creases on the cover but not many. There is slight sticker removal damage top right of front. Some edge wear to the print. Some surface wear to back cover. Please study the pictures.
Inner sleeve is very good. I can feel some residue where something must have made it wet, against the light you can just make out the tide marks.
The vinyl is very clean and looks very good.
I have not played this vinyl so cannot comment on any audible pops or scratches. It looks very good though.
I have chosen not to use standard record grading terms as one man's 'excellent' is another man's 'very good'. So although I have used the words very good in my description I am not following standard grading (from what I can see the vinyl looks 'excellent' to me but as I say I have not played it and opinions vary wildly between collectors).
Please study pictures to help make your decision. You can click on each image and that will open a large version in another window or tab. You can then click on that image to further zoom into the image. I have tried to catch some light on the vinyl so you can even have a look at that for evaluating condition.
This is a fantastic album by a truly great songwriter and is quite hard to find onl vinyl.
