HUMAN GLOW Lp by BLACK BLOWING FLOWERS. Original Italian pressing on CBS label (69124), from 1975. Seldom heard and incredible session by a mysterious Italian studio group, rumoured to include cult musicians, Alberto Radius and Mario Lavezzi (both members of IL Volo). Killer cosmic disco cum jazz funk featuring an intoxicating mix of influences from around the Mediterranean. All themes have a middle eastern 'je ne sais quoi' in the production. Our soundclip opens with the B-boy intro and spaced-out groove of their cosmic funk version of NIGHT IN TUNISIA followed by several other themes. Great for DJs. Fresh sounding and psychedelic with addictive basslines / exotic percussion / derboukas / synthesizers / fender rhodes / harpsichord / clavinet / Arab-esque scat harmony (most probably the Nora Orlandi singers) / electric violins / sleazy disco orchestrations and even a few rock guitar breakdowns. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some light hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. The flipback card sleeve is in strong VG++ condition and is still in shrinkwrap. Some wear to any exposed corners / edges (mostly to open side). Original CBS label inner sleeve intact. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label image. Rare Lp!!!
