We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. SCARCE.... ORIGINAL,1969 RARE first pressing with FRANK ZAPPA & THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART, THE G.T.O's, WILD MAN FISCHER, TIM DAWE, early ALICE COOPER, JEFF SIMMONS (within the album) photos collage cover...much harder to find than the black & white Zappa portrait cover reprint of the same album...

It is very seldom that a clean mint top copy turns up...here's your chance -- by the way ~ this album is a listening pleasure from head to toe, especially when you, the listener, gets their kicks from the 'bent edges' underground scene of the late 60's & early 70's...

Never sold in retail stores the album was a mail-order only limited edition by Bizarre/Straight Records...with legendary Bizarre & Straight label artists such as Tim Buckley, Alice Cooper, Jeff Simmons, Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Judy Henske & Jerry Yester, The GTO'S, Tim Dawe, Wild Man Fischer, Lord Buckley and the Mothers Of Invention.

Starting in 1969 Reprise Records (and their parent label Warner Bros. Records) ran a USA only mail-order promotion on a number of the inner sleeves of their mainstream artist's releases. This was to promote a wide range of less popular "underground" artists...

This Frank Zappa-oriented release is part of the series, although this particular compilation is also geared to promoting both the artists 'signed' to Zappa and the two labels, Straight and Bizarre Records, which Zappa co-founded with Herb Cohen. These two labels were manufactured and distributed by Reprise Records.
