This auction is for a copy of Bishop Steel's 12" EP release
"KILLING ASYLUM"
Private Label release EBIC91, 1991.

Mega mega MEGA rare, and near impossible to find!!

This is the third copy of Bishop's EP we've come across in the past five years, most likely due to the fact the band spent some time in this area just prior to and shortly after it's recording.

The first copy went to a west coast collector for $125.00 via a non-auction transaction in '02.
Hey! -- Times were tough! We needed the $$s. He got a fantastic deal and he knew it, as did we.

The next copy we turned up sold here on eBay for $483.00 in Oct., '05. Check popsike if you feel the need to verify.

We just recently came across this copy. It has some things neither of the other copies had: INSERTS!
There is a two page stapled together "informational packet." Page one front talks about Bishop Steel being back with a new release; the back has review snippets from the USA and Germany (see scans.)
The second sheet thanks you for your interest in Bishop Steel, contains Fan Club information and music magazine (remember Circus and Hit Parader?) / TV (as in MTV) addresses along with other news.
There's also an unlaminated ALL ACCESS -- BAND pass -- awaiting your name and other information prior to lamination. Here, hang this around your neck...

CONDITION: After running the EP through our VPI, we found one extremely light non play-affecting surface scratch of the type usually caused when 'rolling' an album into its jacket and it rubs across a cardboard burr, one short extremely light non play-affecting cross-groove scratch consistant with needle anti-scate (clumsy manual tone arm lift or similar oopsie,) and one extremely small non play-affecting 'scuff/scratch' of a type consistant with vinyl being being accidentally touched by a velvet wand handle.
A verrry small amount of playwear can be detected when held under a light at the right angle.

Record grades a solid to strong NM.
