Great copy of the rare original 5-disc version of Bing's Merry Christmas 78 album on Decca A-403. Later editions, even only a year later, had only 4 discs. This is the very first edition of this Christmas classic, which has remained in print ever since, even to this day. Features the original and by far the best version of White Christmas, re-recorded in about 1946, after which all copies usd the new version, which is lovely but not as great as this original.
There are some scuffs and a bit of light wear, Records 3,4 & 5 have a small chip on the outer edge but it does not affect playing. . The cover is in exceptional condition with just a bit of edge and corner wear and an absolutely perfect spine with no rips at all. Strong binding and record pockets.
