Description
Billy Nicholls: Would You Believe b/w Daytime Girl; UK Immediate IM 063 (1968)
The only two tracks from the sessions for the legendary 1968 "Would You Believe" album (often described as a British "Pet Sounds") which actually got a proper release at the time. These are mono mixes and different to the album version (finally issued in 1999). The A-side is produced and arranged by the Small Faces, their influence is quite evident and Steve Marriott's voice is clearly audible.
Billy Nicholls is a successful songwriter, Pete Townshend and Del Shannon are amongst the artists who have covered his songs.
Condition: EX+++. This is a superb copy, looking virtually unplayed and unmarked. Comes in original Immediate sleeve, also in excellent condition.
