BILLY JOEL-52ND STREET-1978-FC35609-GOLD PROMO STAMP-SEALED LP

$

Description

Title: 52nd Street

Artist:  Billy Joel

Album: Mint

Cover: VG+ (ring wear, slight corner wear) (Please see all photos)

Label:  Columbia

Catalog#:   FC 35609 -This album was purchased as New Old Stock, the interesting feature is that it has a gold stamp on the top right corner of the back cover - For Promotion Only Ownership Reserved For CBS Sale Is Unlawful  4005 - my understanding is that this was put on albums sent to radio stations, record dealers and distributors, this does not denote or guarantee that the album is actually a true white label promo.  The album is not in the original factory shrink wrap but has been re-sealed in a plastic cover, this is probably due to the removal of the shrink to stamp the cover and the shrink was replaced.  For this reason the album is listed as sealed.

Year:   1978

Country: US
