William Martin "Billy" Joel (born May 9, 1949) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Since releasing his first hit song, "Piano Man", in 1973, He has become the sixth best-selling recording artist and the third best-selling solo artist in the United States. His compilation album Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2 is one of the best-selling albums in the US.

Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has a few light circular superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has a few light circular superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 3: very good (has the odd mark and plays with a couple of clicks at the very start and four or five very light clicks on the last track but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, plays with no jumps or sticks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 4: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (glossy, gatefold): excellent (has the odd small edge crease and a bit of light discolouring on the inside).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
