BILLY HAMLIN: ACETATE/PRIVATE Records (Mfd in NYC in the mid 60's) A one-of-a-kind item. He had a Rare Northern Soul hit on BETHLEHEM Records, "If You Ain't Got No Bread (You Might As Well Stay In Bed)", from 1963. These Recordings are from approximately close to the same era. This is an Album of Home Recording Demos, put on an Acetate LP for promotional purposes. Just BILLY HAMLIM and a Piano. And it's good R&B material, too. This has been played very few times and is in Clean, Excellent Condition. It's a miracle that this thing exists at all. The Record has some storage dust could use some cleaning, but I'm not touching it. I don't know what the proper cleaning fluid would be for this type of material. It plays very nicely at VG++/Almost New. I'm trying to accurately grade these Tracks and not overgrade anything; I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves. I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00. I can ship this to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $22.00; shipping to Canada will cost $15.00. I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. I can email you Overseas Postage rates. I can take PAYPAL (and others). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. If bidding on this reaches $50, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $5.95 of the $13.95 Registered Mail fee. If it sells for $120-$500 to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $52; I'll have to Insure it for the Full Amount at my expense, and declare Full Value on the Customs Form. If it sells for over $500, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $90.00. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers.
