You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK 60'S BEAT BALLAD single by BILLY FURY called WHY ARE YOU LEAVING backed with OLD SWEET ROLL(HI DE HO), issued on the PARLOPHONE record label in the UK in 1970, cat number R845 (BLACK AND SILVER LABEL). The record is in excellent/ near mint condition with excellent labels, it has no wear or surface scuffs and scratches and plays with no clicks and jumps and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC BILLY FURY late 60's BALLAD from BILLY FURY, the best of the British rock and rollers (MAYBE TOMORROW, COLLETTE), Better known for his soulful bedsitting room ballads, he had a string of huge hits during the 60's, (HALFWAY TO PARADISE, BECAUSE OF LOVE, IN THOUGHTS OF YOU, JEALOUSY). Towards the end of the 60's he moved to the PARLOPHONE record label and made a string of great records without ever making the charts, This is one of the best tracks he recorded at the time, and was a big influence on MORRISSEY, BOWIE and others. RARE and hard to find in decent condition, from my own collection
