On the original U.K. Decca 78 r.p.m. label from 1959 (F.11128). Margo/Don't Knock Upon My Door. This is one of Billy Fury rarest recordings on any format. This 78 simpily never turns up. Here is a copy, that to be honest looks like s**t but plays superb to the point that there isnt much crackle at all, and sounds like a normal near mint 78!! The condition of this item goes against it however is a perfectly playable copy and for an item of this rarity it really dont matter!!!! This is a mega rare oppartunity and probably the only one for a while, to own this fantastic item. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION please check out my other 78 auctions. Happy Bidding. Disc: Good: Due to loads of surface markings that strangley have no affect on the sound at all. This 78 plays through with no jumps, clicks or scratches and has survived all this time without a crack!!! This, and all my 78 auctions at the moment have to be the best selection of 78's i have ever seen or owned. I mean when do you ever see 78's of this rarity. Labels: Are both a bit grubby with some scratches from the disc proceding onto the labels. Also there is a name written on the side two label and some spindal markings. Obviously enjoyed over time!!! Sound Quality: This 78 sounds extraordinary to be perfectly honest. This has stood the test of time and sounds fantastic, a perfect 78 sound!!!
