You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK 60'S BEAT single by BILLY FURY called HIPPY HIPPY SHAKE backed with GLAD ALL OVER, issued on the LONDON record label in the US in 1964, cat number L 9644( BLUE LABEL , LARGE US CENTRE). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels, it has no surface scuffs and scratches and plays with no clicks and jumps and a minimum of surface noise CLASSIC BILLY FURY 60'S ROCKERS from the best of the British rock and rollers (MAYBE TOMORROW, COLLETTE), Better known for his soulful bedsitting room ballads, he had a string of huge hits during the 60's, (HALFWAY TO PARADISE, BECAUSE OF LOVE, IN THOUGHTS OF YOU, JEALOUSY). Towards the end of the 60's he moved to the PARLOPHONE record label and made a string of great records without ever making the charts, which MORRISSEY was influenced by much later, made for the overseas market for export only, this great double -sided record was issued in the US, and never released in the UK. Two great rocking tracks covering the SWINGING BLUE JEANS and DAVE CLARK FIVE hits. RARE and hard to find in decent condition, from my own collection
