Drummer Billy Cobham was fresh from his success with the Mahavishnu Orchestra when he recorded his debut album, which is still his best.
Most of the selections showcase Cobham in a quartet with keyboardist Jan Hammer, guitarist Tommy Bolin, and electric bassist Lee Sklar.
Two other numbers include Joe Farrell on flute and soprano and trumpeter Jimmy Owens with guitarist John Tropea, Hammer, bassist Ron Carter, and Ray Barretto on congas.
The high-quality compositions make this fusion set a standout - a strong mixture of rock rhythms and jazz improvising

In keeping with its once played status my one play-check at volume found practically nothing to fault - just a couple of tiny dust pops - but I did not clean this copy as it looks so immaculate so these will no doubt disappear after a clean/few spins - still graded as MINT as this copy is like-new

Apart from a tiny soft bend to the bottom corner the gatefold is clean, sharp and fresh
