A MASTER CLASS in progressive fusion from this ex member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra and a former Miles Davis collaborator. Naturally the music is class-A fusion supported by a brilliantly talented backing band including keyboard maestro Jan Hammer, bassist Leland Sklar, John Tropea and Deep Purple superstar Tommy Bolin. The tracks are mainly long and extemporaneous but also very funky with Cobham's driving beats and infectious rhythms laying down a super groovy foundation.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of any use. Grades as top shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover - retains original printers bloom. Sharp corners (a couple slightly rubbed), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly straight, stiff and square. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 41 years after release. Grades as top Ex+
