Description

Billie Holiday at her finest. All or nothing at All from 1959 in excellent condition. Verve MGV8329 1st pressing with trumpeter label. This is an amazing record. The music is sublime. Ben Webster tenor sax, Harry "Sweets" Edison trumpet, Barney Kessel guitar, Jimmy Rowles piano, are all in fine form with bass by either Joe Mondragon or Red Mitchell and drums by Alvin Stoller. I play tested the entire record on headphones and found that even though there are visible marks on the vinyl, there is precious little surface noise. Sophisticated Lady has some surface noise, but even that is minimal and unobtrusive. The sound is almost near mint, but I rated it EX because of the visible marks.
