This item is sealed but please make sure you read the details description below and look at all the photos I have provided.  If anything is unclear please email me before buying.

CONDITION

BOX - All though this item is sealed I am going to grade this condition of the box as VG to be conservative.  I try to be conservative with my grades to avoid disappointment and try to be as open and honest as possible when it comes to condition.

First, the plastic wrapping is loose and over the years, due to handling, some tears have appeared.  I have taken a couple of photos of the tears. 

Second, there is some staining along the left hand side of the box.  It looks like the loose wrapping rubbed against the edge or perhaps it was packed too tightly.  Either way it's there are you can see it in the photos provided. 

Third, due to the rips near the bottom some form of liquid got through the wrapping.  You can see the staining in the photos provided.  The staining is primarily relegated to the sides of the left hand side of the box and the bottom right side spine.  Some of the liquid appears to have run down across the front of the box which you can see in the photo above (the one with Billie Holiday drawn face in it).

I really don't know if you can clean any of the staining off but I certainly don't want to try.

Lastly there is an indent in the front of the box.  You can see that in the 7th photo.

Despite these issues the box still looks quite nice. The corners are intact and sharp. 

RECORDS - Since the item is sealed I have no way of knowing what condition the lps are in.  I know some sellers will grade a sealed LP as mint but how do you know it's mint if it's sealed?  There's some debate (some same arguments!) amongst collectors as to what the best approach is with respect to grading sealed lps.  Most just assume it's going to be mint but I don't want to do that. 

However, I will offer the following to any buyer.  Once you've bought the item, at your request I'll unseal the box for you and check the condition of the records.  I don't have the time to play grade all 20 sides but I will see if there are any marks, etc and will play those to see if they are audible.  If there are any issues I will contact the buyer and cancel the purchase if they choose to do so.  Japanese pressings are typical of amazing quality so I do not expect there to be any issues.  I'm only offering this option if the buyer intends to open this item and listen to it rather than just keep in sealed in their collection.  I don't want anyone to feel like they've been ripped off.
