BILL NELSON ACQUITTED BY MIRRORS FAN CLUB MAGAZINES (ISSUES # 1-14) + 7 RARE 33 1/3 rpm 7" RECORDS THAT WERE INCLUDED IN VARIOUS ISSUES FROM 1982-1990.
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND COLLECTIBLE SET. A GREAT TREASURE FOR ANY BILL NELSON OR BE BOP DELUXE FAN. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER, THESE WERE ALL SENT TO ME AS A MEMBER OF THE CLUB FROM THE U.K. AND I HAVE STORED IN A BOX ALL THESE YEARS. I AM MOVING AND NEED TO SLIM DOWN MY COLLECTION. Acquitted by Mirrors was a club set up by Bill and his former manager Mark Rye. The magazine, started in 1982, lasted until 1990. It only was published with any regularity between 1982 and 1985. Seven club-only 7" EPs and one compact disc were distributed.
The magazine was mostly authored by Bill's manager, Mark Rye. The exception was ABM 15, where it appears that two people interviewed Bill in late 1989, and this became the final issue in 1990. Usually Bill would write a short note at the beginning of each issue and would provide photographs from his "archive".
Included are ACQUITTED BY MIRRORS Magazines, #1-14. It also includes all 7 33 1/3 RPM 7” Cocteau Records that were exclusive to Fan Club Members, as noted below.
There was an issue #15 (with Simplex CD) which for some reason, i never received.

Cocteau Records COQ 20 'The Cote D'Azur EP 7" Vinyl 33RPM 1986
The music on the E.P. was recorded on my return from holiday in Villefrance-sur-Mer and it is an impressionistic soundscape of my 'adventures' there. On the track "Familiar Spirit" you may recognize the voice of one J. Cocteau (conjured into The Echo Observatory by various nefarious rites.)
The track "Letter to Jacques Maritain" features yours truly reading Cocteau's words from the aforesaid letter.
