TITLE/ARTIST: This LP - the group's very 1st album release - is on Decca Records by Bill Haley & The Comets - from the very beginning years of R'n'R - 1955. The LP is entitled, "Rock Around The Clock" - and is on the original black with silver print (1st pressing), Decca Label, and includes twelve (12) great songs by Bill Haley and his Comets - including the early hits "Rock Around The Clock", "Shake, Rattle, And Roll", and "ABC Boogie" (see the pictures above for all song titles). In addition to the LP this piece includes an early Decca Records advertising sheet - this is not the inner sleeve - which lists other Decca LPs available at that time (see pics above). The record, this advertising sheet, and jacket are all in great overall condition - especially the vinyl. I will be listing other old, rare, and hard to find 45's, EP's, and LP's in my future auctions, so please check my site out from time to time - as there are hundreds more to get to yet. LABEL INFO: The label (DL 8225) - in mono - is super clean and nice with nothing really negative to mention at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little, if any, play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in need of a mention at all either - in my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET: This jacket - and the enclosed ad sheet - are also in very good overall condition - just a few super small dots/marks down the very middle of the front side only, but nothing too serious in my opinion - and hardly noticeable at first glance. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this original, 1st LP of Haley's is primarily very clean and nice, not to mention how difficult it is to find anymore, so please have at it.
