Description

This Bill Evans Record is in amazing condition. Remember its almost 60 years old. The cover still has 3/4 shrink wrap on it. In the picture it may look like tape but its where the 3/4 shrink wrap ends. Picture of cover was taken with plastic sleeve cover on. The cover is VG++ with one pin point size blemish to up side cover.
As for the record surface I would grade VG++. If you know this recording it has a lot of soft and quiet playing by Bill Evans. it has a couple quiet ticks on the soft piano parts of the record. Spindle whole very clean.
About 20 years ago a woman I met by going to her Estate Sales called me up and said she had just finished a job and all that was left was about 50 Jazz records and some playback equipment. When I got off of work I flew over to the address. When I pulled up to I was discouraged by the appearance of the house. Two unkempt Duplexes and 2 broken down El Camino's.But being a record hound I walked into the house and greeted the lady. The only items left in the beat up house were an old Reel To Reel and a old cassette. I passed on the playback equipment and went through the box of records, to my glee it was Prestige ,Verve, World Pacific, Pacific Jazz, Riverside and Few other cool labels. I asked the lady her price and I bought them. 
When I got Home and started to look carefully at the records and realized they had been played very few times. I surmised that records had been recorded to Reel To Reel and the Cassette and put away .This was a custom for some people in the early 60s. Back in the day if you want cool music in your car.
