THE BILL EVANS TRIO - ‘EXPLORATIONS’

UK RIVERSIDE RLP 351 MONO

A rare 1958 mono first press of this legendary jazz offering feat Scott LaFaro (bass) and Paul Motian (drums).

COVER:  Clean, laminated front cover with some very light scuffing in the bottom right corner. No visible ringwear. The back cover is clean with a very slight sign of ringwear. I would grade the cover as EX.

VINYL:  On first inspection the vinyl looks excellent, retaining it’s origina sheen. A closer inspection under bright light reveals some light hairline on side 1 which wouldn’t affect play I would grade as Excellent. Side two shows several light hairline marks under strong light. I would still grade as VG+.

The labels are crisp and bright showing the classic Blue and Silver Riverside label in all it’s glory!
