BIG STAR - "#1 Record"
(Ardent) Original 1972 1st Press US Promo (Stereo)
Visually graded condition of disc: Near Mint minus (unplayed)
For the most part, both sides are near spotless with just a couple three faint hairline marks more than likely from the inner sleeve from inspecting this disc many times over the last 40 years. In no way will those affect play. Cuts 2 & 3 on Side One both have small light scratches, again, most likely from the inner sleeve. I spot checked both with my Shure V15 stylus and neither (miraculously) can be heard. Therefore, I expect both sides to play Near Mint.
Condition of sleeve: Both laminated sides have light ring wear, but aside from a dinged corner (at lower right) and a light crease only noticeable on the backside (lower right) there are no other real issues. Promo sticker on front.

All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous.
MY GRADING SCALE
(very similar to the Goldmine standard)
NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
M-/NM- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.
