BIG STAR #1 Record Ardent ADS-2803 Original Album PROMO COPY! Record was purchased used in the late 80's, probably hasn't been played in 25 years. Well cared for and stored since its original purchase. This promo copy had some sort of paper taped to the front cover, with clear tape running along all 4 edges. The paper was gone at the time of original purchase, but the tape has been recently removed. The "Promotional Copy" sticker on the right side has some tape residual on it, this was removed some time ago. The "Suggested Cuts" sticker on the left side still has the tape on it, as well as some residual tape material. I didn't feel confident in trying to clean these 2 areas up, so they are left as is. Since the cover has a sort of laminate coating on it, I was able to remove the tape and the residual adhesive. When looked at a certain angle, you can see where the tape was (see pictures). Still its a pretty decent cover considering how it started out. Overall I give the cover a "Good" condition. The vinyl record is "VG" condition. Side 1 has this in the dead wax: STXS-0178-1; AS-0401; ADS-2803; Side 1; a "triangle" followed by 17069; steamroller creation. Side 2 has in the dead wax: STXS-0261-2; AS-0406 RR; L NIX; a "triangle" followed by 17213. Comes with a plain white sleeve that appears aged for a 50 year old record.
