Description

Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton with Kansas City Bill and His Orchestra bring you Leiber and Stoller's "Hound Dog," the original version, which, frankly, kicks the hell out of Elvis's watered-down version.  Even has the script name of "Don Robey P-1612" in the run-out groove.  The late Don Robey was the owner of Peacock records as well as Duke records.  Just right for your jukebox.


Vinyl grading: This record has seen some hard traveling. The third photo indicates grade.  It's scuffed; it plays.  VG.

 

I have been dealing in 78rpm records on eBay since 1998.   Will be shipped soundly.
