Bill Holmes, already the producer of Strawberry Alarm Clock, decided to take on the band and, under his direction they cut this “Confusion”. The famous blues components manifest themselves in “Saint James Infirmary”, and in the torrid “Heavy Load”, while characterized from a soloist who elaborates, with success, from the lessons of the classics of the time, Hendrix & Clapton. An example of big, heavy, blues-psychedelia from the Big Brother.
