This is the "BEWARE THE SHADOW"  early 1st Press UK 1972 LP by HELP YOURSELF

The is the 3RD LP released by HELP YOURSELF.

The LP was bought on its release in 1972, and is a very early 1st pressing.

The vinyl is on the UNITED ARTISTS label, number UAS 29413 and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers:

  • Side 1:    UAS 29413 A-1U "1" "G"
  • Side 2:    UAS 29413 B-2U "1" "G" and "PORKUM" etched in the blank vinyl near the label

Visual

Record is NEAR MINT, superb unmarked vinyl, with no scratches or marks - even looks good under a very strong light.

No noticeable label spindle marks in normal lighting, only a few can be seen under strong light.

PLAYTEST

The LP plays superbly,  quiet between tracks, no pops, bangs, jumping or sticking, with just some slight background noise in some of the quieter moments, .

COVER

The cover is EX++  and is a fully laminated (front & back) cover.

The cover is very clean and a nice shiny laminate, and almost looks and feels like new

There is a very feint partial ringwear impression on the front and back cover, but very hard to notice.

The edges and corners are excellent, with just a small short line of wear along  the bottom edge.

The spine is excellent and undamaged with all the lettering visible.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
