Description
For auction is BEVERLY KENNEY's "Come Swing With Me," on Royal Roost RLP 2212, MONO, 1956.
SOUND: VG
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. There is minor background noise throughout the record, not too bad. A few of the cuts have a random, medium volume "pop" here or there. A4 ("Violets For My Furs") has about 30 seconds of louder systematic popping at the end.
VINYL: VG
Visually, the vinyl has a few light scuffs and scratches. Nothing I can see that looks too bad. No major problems on the playback. Record is on dark blue "Royal Roost" label, with deep grooves.
COVER: VG+, or better
The cover is very nice. The edges are solid, with a 1-inch split beginning on the center bottom one. The four corners are slightly softening, but still look pretty sharp. The from cover is very clean and completely unmarked. the back is clean and fairly white and unmarked.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
A very nice record that plays well and is still thoroughly enjoyable. No reserve, bidding starts at $10.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
