Description

Serious offers only please.
Incredible acetate from 1966 session with an array of high calibre musicians brimming with character and authentic, original live recording sound which holds much, much more character than the recent Record Store Day remaster.
The takes on this acetate are longer than the Record Store Day remaster, with Picking Up The Sunshine being 4:00 and Gin House Blues being 4:06.
Graded as VG+.
Plays fantastically with a very light background noise characteristic to recording blanks.Has been handled with care.A-side free from clicks and pops. B-side with 2 clicks and 1 pop.
Notes
Emidisc Acetate/Recording Blank taken from the recording session on March 23rd 1966 featuring alongside Beverley's vocals are Jimmy Page and John Renbourn on Guitar, John Paul Jones on Bass, Nicky Hopkins on Piano, Mike Lease on Organ and Andy White on Drums.Recorded live and cut direct to disc as with all Emidisc recording blanks.
The same session that Fly Records remastered for the Record Store Day release of the same two tracks, though the track Picking Up The Sunshine is a longer version on this acetate than the Record Store Day release.
