Up for auction is a very rare original copy of the debut self-titled funk masterpiece Betty Davis, originally released in the U.S. on Just Sunshine Records (JSS 5) in 1973.

Note:
This is one of the nicest copies of this album that I've come across. Most copies are heavily worn and scratched. Very hard to find a copy is such nice condition.
Condition:
The cover is in very nice condition with only light signs of wear. No ring wear, just some very light rub to the seams and corners. No seam splits, no tears or separations. Still a very attractive example of this rare cover, one of the nicest examples I've come across. Grade: Excellent (EX).
The vinyl is in very nice condition, still has its original shine. No significant scratches or scuffs, just a couple very faint, small hairlines, probably from taking the vinyl out of paper inner sleeve a couple times. Cannot be felt, nor do they affect the quality of the playback, which is excellent, very clear. Looks like it's been played only once or twice but handled very carefully. No marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play. Well-preserved original pressing. Beautiful! Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-).
