Berto Pisano e la sua Orchestra - Volume II

Italian pressing, Ricordi SMRL 6160 (1975)

Very obscure Berto Pisano Lp featuring original library composition and covers from Piero Piccioni soundtracks (Finchè c'è guerra c'è speranza, Travolti da un insolito..., Anna Karenina). Like the "A blue shadow OST", also this Lp is a long suite of evocative scat lounge themes with emphasis on the voice of Edda Dell'Orso and on the Valdambrini's jazz trumpet. First track on the clip is "Avenue of the spring" and it's an alternative (and unreleased) scat vocal version of the Pisano's Sissignore OST main theme!
