Conditions : cover shows some slight edge wear, EX+ / disc with the original inner sleeve has some hairlines and scuffs which affect moderately play with some clicks and a bit of surface noise, EX
STRICTLY GRADED
Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc. ... are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.
Notes : music Bernard Hermann, orchestra Muir Mathieson. Certainly this composer is really amazing, each his soundtrack is a masterpiece. Here the symphonies from the double faces, sometimes string and percussion instruments seem in a state of an apparent calm reflecting sentimental or melancholic atmospheres, sometimes they turn their sounds into distortions or some unconventional harmony just like sharp knife-edges to depict nightmare, fear and anguish.
