Condizioni : copertina laminata su entrambi i lati in grande stato; ha un insolito lato d'uscita del disco posto a sinistra. MINT- / vinile in apparenza nuovo, giusto con pochi minimi segnetti, che non condizionano affatto il perfetto ascolto del lato con " Les Bicyclettes de Belsize ". L'ascolto invece di " Twisted Nerve " rivela un moderato rumore di fondo e qualche lieve clicks; grande stato, EX+

Conditions : laminated cover on both sides is in great shape. Has an unusual opening side on the left. Strong MINT- / disc looks as new or so on both sides : just fewest light hairlines which do not affect play at all in  " Les Bicyclettes de Belsize ". On the contrary the listening of  " Twisted Nerve " reveals some moderate background noise and a few light clicks, EX+  

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche composte e dirette da Bernard Hermann.  Magnifiche composizioni prevalentemente di carattere sinfonico con raffinate soluzioni come l'inserimento del violino elettrico, l'uso del fischio e delle percussioni, la sincopatura dei suoni, ecc., ecc. ... che affascinano l'ascoltatore attento che potrebbe definire alcuni di questi brani con l'etichetta di psichedelia sinfonica. Rompe questo schema " The Twisted Nerve - Jazz version ", jazz, naturalmente, dal ritmo incalzante con ottimi spunti di pianoforte, basso e flauto. Infine "la lucida follia" dell'ultimo brano con l'allucinato e misticheggiante fischio dei Lions. Quest'ultimo brano è stato ripreso nel 2003 da Quentin Tarantino per il film " Kill Bill Vol. 1 ".

Notes : music composed and conducted by Bernard Hermann. Superb compositions mainly based on a symphonic tapestry with refined solutions such as the use of the electric violin whistle and percussions, the syncopated sounds, etc... attracting the attentive listener who would define some of these tracks as psychedelic symphonies. Breaks this pattern " The Twisted Nerve - Jazz version ", jazz, of course, from the lively rhythm with excellent performances of piano, bass and flute. Finally the "lucid madness" of the last track with a hallucinatory and mystical whistling of The Lions. The latter was used in 2003 by Quentin Tarantino in his movie " Kill Bill Vol. 1 ".

Note : musiche composte da Les Reed e Barry Mason, orchestra diretta da Les Reed. Sette canzoni e tre brani strumentali dalle atmosfere principalmente romantiche. Valzer in " Les Bicyclettes de Belsize " nella bella interpretazione di Johnny Worth meglio conosciuto come Les Vandyke, pop raffinato in " All I Need Is Love " cantato da Jane Marlow(e) e " Gentlemen of the Park ", dal ritmo vivace e con qualche vena di psichedelia cantata dagli Episode Six in cui militavano i due futuri Deep Purple Ian Gillian e Roger Glover.
