This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO DEMO PRESSING - NORTHERN SOUL single by BENNY SPELLMAN from 1962, ORIGINAL UK PROMO PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - NORTHERN SOUL - PROMO single that NEVER comes up for sale !!! This is a VERY RARE single in it’s stock format issue, but the last time a DEMO PROMO copy came for sale was 6 years ago in 2012, and only handful of DEMO copies have ever sold !!! This is a true CLASSIC NORTHERN SOUL double sider and was comped on the: CLUB SOUL 2: THE TWISTED WHEEL and NEW ORLEANS FUNK 2 and ON THE SOUL SIDE and TALCUM SOUL and THE ROUTE TO QUADROPHENIA compilations, amongst many others !!!
The tracks are: LIPSTICK TRACES / FORTUNE TELLER.
The single came out on LONDON AMERICAN RECORDS catalogue number HLP 9570.
The condition of the vinyl is in EX+++ / MINT- condition (minor sleeve scuffs only !!!) + ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE (with minor bends) !!!
