Description
BENNY GOODMAN "Golden Age Of Swing" 5-LP set . Very rare limited edition set from 1956 on RCA Victor LPT-6703. This is numbered K750 on the inside (see picture below). This 5-LP set is housed in a white vinyl binder with a 22-page spiral bound booklet. This also comes with a 12"x12" insert with the names of all of the songs. This is the ultimate Benny Goodman item.
- Condition/Cover : The white vinyl cover is in beautiful NM- condition with some very light yellowing on the edges & a few small, light age spots on the back, otherwise really nice (see photos below!!). This has been very well cared for and was the center point of a large jazz collection. In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.
- Condition/Vinyl : The vinyl on all 5 LP's still shines like new with 100% gloss and they are all in NM- to NM condition. There is maybe one or two very light surface scuffs that do not affect the play. This set looks like it was played once & then put away for all of these years.
- Condition/Labels : The deep-groove labels are NM- to NM condition with one or two trails.
- Comments : This is an extremely rare set & you probably won't find a nicer one. If you want just one Benny Goodman item in your Jazz collection then this is the one that far surpasses any other. - Grading Information : All records are graded visually under 2-100 watt lights. If there is a questionable mark or spot then the LP is play graded. We grade very conservatively in strict accordance with Goldmine standards.
