This is a rare UK 1st press of ‘Act One' by Beggar’s Opera. This press has the earliest 6360 018 1Y//1 - 2Y//1 matrix and the earliest large spiral Vertigo label. It is complete with the original Vertigo inner sleeve and Howards Printers matt gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl is still jet black, with a bright gloss. There is no sign of whitening or heavy play to the grooves, there are however a number of light marks on both sides. The earliest large spiral label is in Very Good condition. It is extremely bright and the black is bold. There is a name on one side. There is just the very slightest spindle wear.
When played the sound is rich, vibrant and complete with the original bold audio separation. There is some noise especially in the quieter moments but this rare 1st press can still be enjoyed from start to finish.
The Vertigo inner sleeve has some a small name and burn mark but is very solid and bright.
The matt gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the white is bright. The inside is extremely bright, with a name in the corner. There is a little edge wear but the whole sleeve is solid.
