rare German first press vinyl 2LP box set released 1957 on "TULIP" DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) label with ALLE HERSTELLER and catalognumber 18390/91 LPM. Beautiful earliest possible style clothbound box (see photo) with laminated front, complete with 48-page libretto booklet that dates 8/57, original stitched innersleeves and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Best copy I have seen in years... Famous reference performance by Ferenc Fricsay conducting the the Bavarian State Opera Orchestra and Chorus recorded with true audiophile soundquality... see photos.
